We are an independent producer of renewable energy
We build our own power plants and are continuously developing a portfolio of solar and wind farms. This is how we increase the share of green power in Poland’s energy mix.
Our mission
Our mission is to contribute to the decarbonisation of the Polish economy by developing and constructing solar PV and wind farms that reduce the country’s dependence on fossil fuels.
Our goal is to build and own a portfolio of solar and wind power plants with an aggregate installed capacity of at least 1 GW over the next 4-6 years.
We are currently building a portfolio of solar and wind farms with a total capacity of 170 MW.
Our mission
Luneos Green Energy is a joint venture between Polish energy service company Luneos and Swiss-based investment manager SUSI Partners with the aim to advance the energy transition in Poland.
We focus on the dynamic development of renewable energy in Poland and the construction of our own power plants. Our experienced development team is intensively working on large-scale projects.
We are acquiring land to implement wind and solar farms.
We independently develop, design, and build power plants that harvest renewable energy.
We deliver this green energy to the end customer.
We are looking for properties:
- spanning more than 30 hectares
- ranking as class III, IV, V, VI, or wasteland in the agricultural classification
- that are not covered by local master plans, unless these plans allow for solar or wind farm construction
- that are located outside of protected or settlement areas and that are accessible by road
In return, we offer:
- a long-term lease for 29 years
- rent payable annually, in advance, indexed for inflation
- a contract directly with target investor
- refund of land taxes and other fees
We are partly owned by the Luneos Group, which offers power produced by its own plants as well as energy-efficiency solutions. We help Polish companies achieve their sustainability goals by assisting them with a smooth transition to a zero-emissions operation.
We increase the share of green power in Poland’s energy mix
We believe that economic growth and taking action for our common good – the environment – are not mutually exclusive. Climate change is a challenge the entire planet faces together while each country individually needs to take action.
Our operation supports Poland's transition away from fossil fuels. Energy from coal and petroleum gas make up about 70% of the total energy mix in Poland, which leads to high CO2 emissions and high energy prices.
The wind and solar farms we build increase the share of clean energy in the national power grid. They therefore measurably contribute to an overall reduction of energy costs and bring Poland closer to climate neutrality.
